HarvestLab™ 3000 sensor available through IPSO

HarvestLab™ 3000 sensor features

  • Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) for analysing different constituents in harvested crops, feed or liquid fertiliser (one sensor, three applications)
  • Allows automatic adjustment of cutting length according to dry matter content (crop harvesting)
  • Constituent analysis during both feeding and application (liquid fertilisers)
  • At a warehouse or office, use a laboratory unit to ensure accurate feed rationing and animal health.

HarvestLab™ 3000: One sensor, four applications

You can use HarvestLab™ 3000 on a forage combine, on a combine harvester, on a settling tank or as a mobile laboratory.

HarvestLab™ 3000 on a forage combine

HarvestLab™ 3000 simultaneously measures the dry matter and various constituents of harvested crops to help you improve nutrient management in the field, with results far superior to a single sample sent to a lab. On a forage combine, HarvestLab™ 3000 allows you to automatically adjust the cutting length according to the dry matter content, ensuring optimum compaction and conservation of forage.

HarvestLab™ 3000 on a settling tank

Connecting HarvestLab™ 3000 to a decant tank allows more accurate application of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in kg/ha, as well as saving mineral fertiliser, ensuring consistent growth and better crop quality.

With John Deere Manure Sensing, you have the unique advantage of being able to apply nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus with precision. You can set up a nutrient target, a target rate, in kg/ha, and you can even use site-specific prescription maps.

HarvestLab™ 3000 on a combine harvester

HarvestLab™ 3000 records and maps moisture, protein, protein, starch and oil for every second of harvest, with results available on the combine display and in the John Deere Operations Centre™. This allows you to store, manage and market your plots more efficiently while also providing an overview of which acres have successfully converted nutrients into yield and protein/oil, so you can better compare varieties and plan fertiliser application for the coming season.
