Active Implement Guidance

Features

  • A system that controls the direction of the machine (attached to the tractor) so that the machine accurately follows the guiding line, minimising drift caused by ground conditions or gravity.
  • It is based on GNSS positioning of the machine and transmits commands to a steering mechanism on the machine (or to the integrated system), ensuring tractor-implement alignment on the same track.
  • Compatible with the John Deere ecosystem (StarFire antenna, Gen/G5 displays, Operations Centre).

Benefits

  • Eliminates or significantly reduces implement drift on slopes, curves or when crossing areas with plant residue; keeps the implement on the optimum track.
  • Allows large or heavy machinery to be used with increased accuracy without causing placement errors as a result of increased working speed.
  • Reduces the need for frequent manual intervention by the operator, decreasing operator fatigue and human error.

Benefits for the farm

  • Increased efficiency of operations requiring precise positioning (seeding, localised fertilisation, strip-till) through uniformity and accuracy.
  • Reduce input losses and subsequent correction work (fewer additional passes).
  • Improve crop health and yield potential through correct placement of seeds and inputs.
