KUHN GMD mowers They are disc mowers used for cutting forage crops and forming the windrow for subsequent harvesting stages. The range available through IPSO includes front-mounted models and other GMD series, featuring different working widths, ground adaptation systems and equipment.
To choose a KUHN GMD disc mower, compare the mounting position, working width, cutter bar features and how the machine follows the ground contours. Below you can explore the available models and the details of each range
The choice starts with the surface you are mowing, the land and the tractor used. A suitable working width helps you organise passes in the field, while the mower's ability to follow the ground contributes to an even cut. Then check the model-specific features, including the cutter bar and protection systems.
Front models GMD 2721F-3121F and GMD 280F-310F are mounted at the front of the tractor. The GMD 10 Series, 100/105 Series and 1011 Series ranges are also available on the page. Compare the configurations according to the tractor, terrain and how you want to organise the mowing work; consult the page for each range for exact specifications.
The cutter bar influences the cutting quality and the flow of forage through the machine. Some GMD models listed on this page include the PROTECTADRIVE system, designed to protect the cutter bar components in the event of a heavy impact with an obstacle. Check the specification on the chosen model's page, as equipment varies between ranges.
The KUHN GMD mower is a disc mower for cutting forage crops. The range includes different configurations and working widths, so the choice depends on the terrain, the tractor and the workload.
GMD models in this category perform mowing. Mower-conditioners also include a system that acts on the crops after cutting to promote faster drying of the forage. If this stage is important for forage preparation on your farm, also compare the KUHN mower-conditioners available at IPSO
