KUHN DELTIS 2 crop sprayer

The KUHN DELTIS 2 mounted sprayer it is designed for applying crop protection treatments and is available with 1,000, 1,300 and 1,500-litre tanks and boom widths between 15 and 24 m. The range allows you to choose the configuration according to the farmed area, the required width and the desired level of control.

DELTIS 2 it can be equipped with steel or aluminium booms, continuous circulation systems and ISOBUS control. The OPTILIFT system and boom suspension solutions support its stability during work and protect the assembly in transport.

KUHN DELTIS 2 SELECT or POWER: what is the difference?

DELTIS 2 is available in two trim levels, SELECT and POWER. The main difference lies in the level of automation, available circulation systems, and electronic control functions.

DELTIS 2 SELECT

  • Flow-based flow control. 
  • MANUSET (manual implementation). 
  • Standard circulation and CCH (hydraulic). 
  • Compatible with VT30 and ISOBUS terminals. 
  • AEF certification. 

DELTIS 2 POWER

  • Flow based flow control (optional mixed). 
  • MANUSET + DILUSET+ (semi-automated implementation). 
  • All traffic types (Standard, CCH, CCE). 
  • Full ISOBUS, managing premium options (BOOM ASSIST, PROFOLD). 
  • AEF certification. 

How do you choose the right DELTIS 2 configuration for your farm?

To choose a KUHN DELTIS 2 mounted sprayer, you need to analyse the treated area, the required capacity, the working width and the desired level of automation.

For applications where a simpler control system is sufficient, the SELECT equipment provides the essential functions for controlling the application.

The POWER specification adds circulation systems and additional electronic functions, and is suitable when a higher level of automation and the integration of ISOBUS functions are required.

The choice of boom must be made separately, depending on the desired working width and field conditions.

  • Low number of valves - up to 4 filtration levels.

Circulation of the solution

CCM: continuous low-pressure hydraulic circulation
CCE: continuous electric circulation at high pressure, with the possibility of individual nozzle control, depending on the configuration

BOOM ASSIST

The BOOM ASSIST system uses ultrasonic sensors for automatic boom height control and can adapt its height to the terrain or crop.

Control ISOBUS

Through the integration of ISOBUS and compatible terminals, the operator can manage functions such as section control, variable rate and job documentation.

Depending on the configuration, DELTIS 2 is compatible with the CCI 800 and CCI 1200 terminals.

Ramp suspension:

  • TRAPEZE (for arms up to 21 m) 
  • EQUILIBRA (for arms up to 24 m) 

Lifting system: OPTILIFT parallelogram with hydropneumatic suspension for boom protection and working comfort.
