The Ferbo drum is characterised by its robustness and reliability in operation. The drum core is made of calendered sheet metal, not slats, eliminating the risk of damage to the polyethylene pipe during re-drawing. Large-diameter drive wheels reduce the stress on the gearbox and improve drive efficiency.
The water inlet system is made with a nylon bushing, a maintenance-free solution that provides greater water passage than traditional bearing systems, contributing to lower pressure losses. The flexible connection allows quick access for checking and replacing seals.
