Ferbo Rain Drum Description

Designed for large surface areas, Ferbo Hydraulic drums provide full control and assisted operation, minimising handling effort and optimising energy costs.

The Ferbo Hydraulic Series reels are the top solution for professionals who demand reliability and efficiency, thanks to an advanced hydraulic system that takes over all positioning and stabilisation operations.

Technical features key

Hydraulic control full

The machine connects to the tractor via quick couplings. The system includes a control panel for centralised operation of key functions:

  • 360° drum rotation.
  • Lift the wheels (right and left).
  • Hydraulic jack.
  • Lifting the pram.
  • Operating the support/stabilisation legs.

Energy efficiency peak

  • They are equipped with a high-efficiency turbine, designed on the basis of centrifugal rotors, coupled directly to the gearbox.
  • Minimal pressure losses: up to just 0.2 bar at a rederulation speed of 25-30 m/h.
  • The gearbox has 4 steps and automatic mechanical drive cut-off at the end of irrigation.

Construction and durability

  • Robust chassis: The frame is galvanised for GH, GHs, GHA, GHAs and painted for GHB and GHC, ensuring corrosion resistance.
  • Wear-free drum: The inner core of the drum is made of calendered sheet metal to prevent damage to the polyethylene pipe.
  • Maintenance-free water holder: The water inlet rotates on a support with nylon bushing which is maintenance-free and allows a larger-diameter water passage, reducing pressure losses.

  • Digital hour meter, hose laying device with lead screw, 2-wheel sprinkler trolley with adjustable wheel gauge and double water inlet.
