Built by Kemper, a John Deere group company, the 300plus and 400plus maize headers are designed for efficient harvesting, consistent material flow, and adaptation to different field working conditions.
Depending on the size of the farm, the required working width and the forage harvester used, farmers can choose the right header for harvesting productivity and uniform feeding of the machine.
High-speed rotors support efficient cutting, including in wet crops or under weedy conditions. This way, the material is quickly picked up and constantly fed to the forage wagon.
John Deere corn headers can be used for harvesting corn, forage cereals, or biogas crops, while maintaining full working width coverage.
The Manual RowSense™ and AutoTrac™ RowSense™ systems help guide the machine down rows, allowing the operator to focus more easily on header basic functions and material discharge.
Active Header Control, AHC, automatically adjusts the header position for a uniform cut, even on uneven terrain. The system is available with an optional third centre sensor.
The 300plus series is designed for manoeuvrability and efficiency in medium or low-height crops. The short design, low weight, and small drums support precise cutting and good field mobility.

The 400plus series is suitable for farms that require fast and efficient harvesting over larger areas. The large drums cut, gather, and feed the crop uniformly to the forage harvester, contributing to a constant flow of material and a good working speed.
