No thread is left behind. With John Deere grass trimmers, With a wide range of different types of soil, you get accurate, efficient and consistent collection, regardless of ground conditions. Choose from models in 6X9 series and serious R, built for durability and maximum performance.
Components Dura Line gives them up to 4 times the endurance in tough conditions, and the solid scraper and heavy-duty chains ensure long-term reliability. Also contributing to the exceptional strength and durability is the rugged saddle with extra wear strips and deck plates with extra Dura Line coating on the corners.
When you want to improve feeding at all cutting lengths, the 6X9's variable chopper drive system is the answer. For better chop quality, constant crop flow and optimised throughput, synchronise the chopper speed to LOC.
The innovative design of the continuous, centre-moving track improves material flow to the shredder. So you can fully exploit the capacity of your machine, reducing fuel consumption and component wear.
Do you want a clean harvest with no lost crops, no matter the grass density or field conditions? The double heder drive system was introduced in 2015 with the new 8000 Series. Available as an option, it independently adjusts the speed of the pick-up tines in relation to the coulter, perfectly matching the forward speed.
As an option, the heder chains can be automatically lubricated by a electric oil pump. It applies oil to the felt pads that touch the chain only when the pickup is in motion. Your hands stay clean and daily maintenance is much simpler.
The new R-series lifters are designed for high production capacity. To this end, they come equipped with a large 80 cm diameter auger and spirals larger than 20 cm, as well as 6 bars with 6.5 mm teeth.
For maximum performance in the seasons to come, the 30R also comes with a chainless transmission and heavy-duty wear parts that reduce maintenance costs. Variable hedder stroke, offered as a basic option, synchronises auger speed with cutting length for better chop quality.
Whether you're harvesting on heavily or sparsely loaded poles, the optional dual-drive hedder adjusts the speed of the pick-up tines independently of the auger, adapting the speed to the ground. So you're sure not to lose a single strand of crop.
