IPSO commercialises the HAGIE range of self-propelled weeders

HAGIE ipso self-propelled sprayers

IPSO commercialises HAGIE self-propelled weeders and is bringing new benefits to farmers.

John Deere has started its partnership with HAGIE in 2016, following which John Deere took a majority stake in the business, continuing the self-propelled weeders HAGIE to be produced in their own factory, with sales and servicing through the John Deere network. Importantly, the HAGIE factory produced the world's first self-propelled weeders.

Starting in 2017, the STS14 and STS16, are the first models equipped with John Deere engines and are available from the factory with John Deere Precision Technology. In 2020, John Deere fully takes over the HAGIE brand, and this year in 2021, John Deere launches a completely new range of self-propelled weeders HAGIE for 2022, STS12, STS16 and STS20. They help farmers manage small operating windows and difficult field conditions at different crop stages.

HAGIE: self-propelled weeders with high ground clearance. Maximise results!

Maximise your crop yields by feeding and protecting plants when they need it most. To work to their full potential, farmers need a machine that can go into the field at any time. HAGIE self-propelled weeders have been designed to be lightweight, stable, with high ground clearance and capable of performing tasks during any stage of crop growth or in any field conditions. This benefit is extremely important to avoid nutrient deficiencies and control pests. Farmers can therefore work with HAGIE whenever they need to, even in conditions where other herbicide machines cannot.

Also suitable for very tall crops thanks to its ground clearance of 1.9 metres and being one of the lightest self-propelled weeders, the HAGIE stands out from conventional weeders. It can thus be used for treatments for a longer period of the crop's development. While other self-propelled machines finish the season and sit parked, the HAGIE keeps on working, increasing the return on investment.

Each model in the HAGIE range has been designed to maximise herbicide potential and protect the crop throughout the growing season.
