Manitou telescopic handlers for livestock farms
Manitou telehandlers are designed for handling feed, bales and manure, as well as for daily operations carried out on livestock farms.
Model Manitou MLT 625 75 H including technologies developed for productivity and ease of use, among which are JSM – Joystick Switch and Move, the redesigned cab and the ECS – Easy Connect System, which allows the attachment line to be depressurised with the engine running.
The Manitou MLT 625 75 H telehandler is available in the Stage V emission standard version. The compact dimensions, with a height of 2 metres and a width of 1.81 metres, allow access into buildings and areas where other machinery cannot operate easily.
Models Manitou MLT 630 105 Premium and Manitou MLT 635 130 PS+ Premium are also designed for farm work. The MLT 630 105 Premium model is 2.13 metres long and 2.37 metres high, while the MLT 635 model is 2.39 metres long and 2.38 metres high.
The Manitou MLT 625 model has a ground clearance of 38 cm and is equipped with 18-inch profiled agricultural tyres. The traction and grip allow it to be used on various types of terrain. For working at night, the machine can be equipped with four LED work lights mounted on the cab.
Manitou attachments for handling feed and manure
The right attachments extend the functionality of telehandlers and allow for more efficient handling operations on the farm.
Manitou CBG 2450 bucket
The Manitou CBG 2450 bucket can be used for handling solid manure, hay and straw. The grab has a robust structure, removable side tines and a reversible cutting blade, designed for a long service life.
Manitou FFGR fork
The Manitou FFGR fork has an adjustable opening and ensures good visibility during operation. It can be used for both handling bales and compact manure.
PICHON slurry tanker for liquid manure
IPSO offers a range of PICHON vacuum tankers for liquid slurry, with capacities ranging from 5,150 to 30,000 litres, intended for professional use on farms.
Vacuum tankers can be fitted with a simple indicator with a 3” sight glass, which signals the end of the pumping process, or with a transparent tube to view the volume inside the tank.
The choice of pump depends on the capacity of the tanker and the working conditions. PICHON offers:
- air-cooled vacuum pump;
- water-cooled vacuum pump;
- lobe pumps;
- centrifugal pump.
The axle section is adapted to the total weight of the vacuum tanker. Standard equipment includes oversized axles and components sized for safety, including hubs, bearings, and braking systems.
Slurry spreading systems
The trickle hose boom has a fully galvanised structure and is mounted on a hydraulic mounting system located at the rear of the vacuum tanker. It can have working widths ranging from 9 to 30 metres.
Four versions of injectors are available:
- EL71, with 640 mm diameter discs;
- EL8, with skates;
- EL61, with Vibroflex or square tines;
- EL64, with stubble discs.
The choice of model is made according to the type of soil on which the liquid fertilisers are to be spread.
For sloping terrain, spray cannon spreading solutions are available. The range also includes cone nozzles, ground-level nozzles, inverted, oscillating or vertical jet nozzles.
The spreading arms can be configured with:
- two nozzles and working widths of between 12 and 15 metres;
- multiple nozzles and working widths of between 12 and 24 metres.
PICHON manure spreaders
Solid farmyard manure can be utilised by spreading it on agricultural land and pastures, contributing to the supply of plant-accessible nutrients.
IPSO offers PICHON muck spreaders, with capacities ranging from 8 to 24 m³, adapted to different types of farms and organic materials.
Depending on the model, trailers can be equipped with:
- air braking;
- 90 mm axle and 400 × 80 mm brake drums;
- 150 mm axle and 406 × 120 mm brake drums;
- two bogie axles, fixed and steering, of 130 mm;
- two 150 mm tandem axles, fixed and steered.
PICHON M850, M1050 and M1250 series
The M850, M1050 and M1250 series is designed for farms working in hilly areas. The usable length of the tub exceeds 5 metres and allows for uniform loading with two 2.5-metre wide buckets.
The rotors have a diameter of 885 mm. The same diameter is also available for the M945 and M1050 series.
The PICHON M1350 and M1450 models
Starting with the M1350 and M1450 models, the diameter of the rotors is 1,035 mm. The position of the rotor frame limits the return of the scattered material into the tub.
These models are designed for farms and contractors who need robust equipment and precise spreading.
PICHON M1655 and M1855 models
The tub is equipped with a 70 mm U-shaped scraper conveyor. The conveyor belt is driven by a gearbox with a torque of up to 10,000 Nm, controlled from the cab.
The PICHON M2070 and M2470 models
The M2070 and M2470 models are intended for farms managing large volumes of manure.
These can ensure a spread width of between 8 and 15 metres, depending on the material being spread, without requiring the use of multiple trailers for different types of product.
