IPSO - Solutions for livestock farms

John Deere S7 combine available in the Presezon 2026 campaign

Livestock farming is an activity specific to those passionate farmers who, in addition to growing large crops, choose to valorise their forage to a higher level by including it in the feed rations of their farm animals. Although it is not an easy activity, there are many passionate livestock farmers who have invested heavily in both high-performance genetics and state-of-the-art equipment, competing on a level playing field with the most modern farms in Europe.

Equally, the lack of skilled labour is prompting livestock farm owners to invest in machinery and equipment that makes farm work easier and reduces the number of employees, who are still hard to find on the Romanian labour market.

From telescopic loaders for handling feed and manure, to liquid manure spreaders and trailers for solid manure recovery, all these specially designed livestock machinery and equipment are part of IPSO's complete portfolio.

On-farm handling solutions

More than just a handling solution, IPSO offers farmers a machine with aesthetics and user-friendliness: inside and out it benefits from the latest in design technology. The MLT 625 telehandler incorporates the benefits and features of the Manitou design team's innovations: JSM (Joystick Switch and Move - developed and patented by Manitou), the new cab and ECS (Easy Connect System - depressurisation of the attachment line with the engine running). These innovations allow for maximum productivity and operating comfort. Manitou loaders provide a high level of performance. By purchasing a Manitou front loader, you benefit from all the services offered by the exclusive IPSO dealer, such as after-sales service, maintenance contracts, on-site repairs and financing solutions tailored to farmers' needs.

The new Manitou MLT 625 75 H telehandler is now available in a Stage V version. For a personalised offer contact IPSO, exclusive Manitou distributor in Romania.

Super compact size for accessing the most inaccessible areas. At 2 metres high and 1.81 metres wide, the MLT 625 telehandler can easily enter buildings and operate in areas inaccessible to other machines. Likewise, the Manitou MLT 630 105 Premium and MLT 635 130 PS+ Premium telehandlers MLT 630 105 Premium and MLT 635 130 PS+ Premium have been designed for farm work. With a length of 2.13 metres and a height of 2.37 metres, the MLT 630 105 Premium loader will fit in any shelter. The MLT 635 is also 2.39 metres long and 2.38 metres high.

In addition to its 38 cm ground clearance, the MLT 625 telescopic loader is equipped with 18 inch profiled agricultural tyres. Excellent traction and grip allow the machine to be used on all types of terrain. The telescopic loader provides optimum lighting and is equipped for night work with 4 cab-mounted LED work lights.

The Manitou CBG 2450 solid manure, hay and straw bucket can be used successfully in livestock farming. The heavy-duty structured graiser ensures high performance. The side tines can be removed and the cutting blade is reversible, ensuring long service life.

The Manitou FFGR solid dung, hay and straw fork with adjustable opening provides very good visibility and can be used for handling both bales and compact manure.

Liquid manure spreader tanks with capacities between 5,150 litres and 30,000 litres

IPSO offers a wide range of liquid manure spreading tanks, with capacities from 5,150 litres to 30,000 litres, designed for professional use. PICHON liquid manure tanks are equipped with a level indicator. Farmers can choose one of two options: the simple 3” sight-glass gauge indicating the end of the manure pumping process or the transparent tube to view the exact volume in the tank.

The choice of a vacuum pump depends on working conditions and tank capacity. PICHON offers a wide range of vacuum pumps: air-cooled or water-cooled pumps, as well as lobe or centrifugal pumps, depending on the flow rate and pressure to be achieved.

The axle cross-section must be proportional to the total weight of the tank. Because safety is a priority, PICHON offers oversized axles as standard equipment, with special attention paid to the dimensioning of hubs, bearings and brakes.

For spreading solutions PICHON meets the needs of farmers with a fertiliser spreader bar with dripper that has a fully galvanised structure and is mounted on a hydraulic clamping device at the rear of the tank. It can have working widths from 9 to 30 metres and various options. Also for spreading, injectors are available in 4 versions: EL71 injector with 640 mm diameter discs, EL8 injector with skids, EL61 injector with teeth (Vibroflex or square) and EL64 injector with stubble discs. The choice of model depends on the type of soil on which the liquid fertiliser will be spread. Spreading fertiliser with the cannon sprayer is particularly useful on hilly ground where the soil cannot be reached. PICHON also offers a wide range of fertiliser spreading nozzles: conical, ground level, inverted, oscillating or vertical jet. It is also possible to configure spreading booms with 2 nozzles (working width 12-15 m) or multiple nozzle booms with working widths between 12 and 24 m.

Valorisation of solid manure

The solid manure is collected in specially constructed sites and is available to all livestock farmers. With PICHON trailers, it is spread on agricultural fields or meadows, thus increasing the supply of nutrients accessible to plants. IPSO offers a complete range of PICHON solid slurry spreader trailers to cope with all types of solid manure. The range of solid slurry spreaders has capacities from 8 m³ up to 24 m³.

These models are fully galvanised and equipped with pneumatic braking and a 90 mm axle (400×80 mm brake drums), a 150 mm axle (406×120 mm brake drums), 2 bogie axles (fixed + directional) of 130 mm (400×80 brake drums), or 2 tandem axles (fixed + directional) of 150 mm (420×180 brake drums), depending on the model.

The M850/M1050/M1250 series is specially designed for those farmers farming in hilly areas. The useful length of the bucket is more than 5 m, which means that the operator can load the trailer without any problems with 2 buckets of 2.5 m width, thus achieving a uniform loading.

The large size of the rotors, one of PICHON's strong points, is found on these models, with a diameter of 885 mm. The same diameter is also found on the M945/M1050 series. Starting with the M1350 and M1450 models the rotor diameter is 1035 mm. The specific position of the frame of the rotors prevents the spilt material from returning back into the bucket. These models are built with the same technical features as the high-capacity trailers and are designed for farmers and service contractors who want robust equipment with precise distribution.

Present on all models, including the M1655 and M1855, the bucket is fitted with a 70 mm U-shaped scraper conveyor. The conveyor is driven by a large gearbox with up to 10,000 Nm of torque, controlled from the cab.

The largest trailers in its class are the M2070 and M2470 models, which have a large capacity, perfectly meeting the requirements of farmers with large volumes of manure. They can have a spreading width of between 8 metres and 15 metres, depending on the product spread. In this way PICHON offers versatility without having to use multiple trailers depending on the type of product spread.
