Mădălina State

Legal Director

Mădălina has approximately 22 years of legal and managerial experience, accumulated in progressive roles within multinational companies across industries such as agriculture, logistics, real estate, FMCG, and automotive. Throughout her career, she has coordinated legal and compliance functions nationally and regionally (Romania, Balkans, Central Europe), covering all major areas: commercial law, litigation, labour law, corporate transactions, due diligence, M&A, compliance, corporate governance, and relations with authorities.

In her work, Mădălina promotes a model of legal leadership where the legal function acts as a strategic partner to the business, integrated into decision-making processes and focused on value generation. Her approach emphasises collaboration, deep understanding of operations, and risk anticipation, ensuring the business can develop sustainably, agilely, and competitively. In her view, a modern legal department does not block progress but opens avenues through pragmatic, results-oriented solutions, while simultaneously protecting the company's integrity.

His vision:

“For me, compliance and ethics are part of the organisational culture and how the business maintains credibility and trust in the long term. I build relationships based on transparency, trust and responsibility, so that the legal function is perceived as a trusted advisor and a real partner for commercial and operational teams.”
