KUHN STRIGER agricultural machine available through IPSO

STRIGER is a state-of-the-art machine dedicated to Strip-Till, a technology that combines the advantages of conventional tillage with those of direct seeding. Designed for row crops such as maize, oilseed rape, rape, sunflower, beet and soya, STRIGER prepares the soil exclusively on the strip-till, maintaining structure, moisture and biological activity in the inter-row areas.

Main features

  • Modular frame: available in 4- to 12-row versions
  • Adjustable working depth (7-30 cm) without tools
  • Independent working units on parallelogram: precise tracking of the terrain
  • Integrated fertilisation systems: solid, liquid or faeces
  • 6 simultaneous actions in turn: cutting of debris, row cleaning, topping, sanitising, channelling, finishing and depth control

The benefits such

  • Rapid seed-bed warming: accelerated germination
  • Retaining moisture and organic matter: reducing weeds
  • Effective loosening without hardpan formation: optimal root development
  • Reduced fuel consumption and working time: lower operational costs
  • Adaptability to all soil types and climatic conditions

Results measurable

  • Low consumption: up to 5-10 litres/ha
  • Working time: only 0.9 h/ha with one pass
  • Operational costs: up to 50-80% lower than conventional methods
