Riverscreen is a range of self-cleaning rotary filters designed to ensure a constant supply of clean water from surface sources (rivers, canals, lakes), minimising problems with algae, sand and debris.

Features and benefits of the models Riverscreen

All three Riverscreen models are built for reliability and efficiency, sharing the following standard features:

  • Self-Cleaning Spray Bar: All models include an integrated internal nozzle system that sprays water outwards to keep the filter drum clean and free of debris (algae, leaves, etc.).
  • Fish Friendly Design: They are systems designed to protect aquatic life by preventing small fish from being sucked in. They also require no harmful lubricants or paints.
  • Robust construction: Aluminium structural frame and floats (or polyethylene on Linear) to ensure buoyancy and strength.
  • Filter mesh: Standard stainless steel mesh (AISI 304). Variable mesh fineness (from 8 mesh up to model specific maximum) is optionally available.

 

Features and benefits of the models Riverscreen

  • Drive method: Model Standard uses an innovative system based on the force of water (Water Driven PowerDrive) for rotation, while the Linear and Gravity use a Motor Drive (electric motor) as standard for autonomous rotation.
  • Precision filtering: Model Gravity is the only one able to filter up to 200 mesh, specially designed for systems requiring extremely high water purity and using flooded suction.
  • Installation Depth: Standard and Linear are ideal for very shallow water (from 12 cm), while the Gravity requires a minimum depth of 50 cm.
