AquaCheck is a state-of-the-art capacitive probe, developed to accurately measure soil moisture and temperature on the root profile. It is part of Corhize's complete solution for smart irrigation management, together with the Columbus platform and IrrigAssistant service.
The AquaCheck probe consists of a series of sensors placed every 10 cm, which emit an electromagnetic field and measure the moisture in volume, not just on the contact surface. This allows a detailed analysis of water ingress, root activity and actual crop water consumption.
The use of the AquaCheck probe allows you to irrigate according to the real needs of the crop, avoiding both under- and over-watering. Through continuous monitoring and personalised recommendations, farmers can achieve better yields, water savings and efficient resource management.
